Lake District National Park, Skelwith Bridge Hotel, AmblesideThe friendly staff here made us feel so welcome. We didn't have a reservation so were pleased they had a space. We enjoyed fish and chips, gammon steak and the pasta, all of which were lovely. The price was reasonable as well, we would definitely recommend.

Chapel Stile, AmblesideA wonderful pub! Staff are so lovely even when rushed off their feet! Food was wonderful, the chips so crispy! We’re staying in chapel stile so have always been twice for dinner and are planning to go back! Very large portions!

Stove Restaurant & Bar
Great Langdale, AmblesideA group of six friends were lucky enough to be staying on the Langdale estate, and make a booking here. A truly marvellous evening, made all the better by fantastic staff. Special thanks to Andi, who was our table waitress and made us very welcome ?? The food is very special - carefully prepared and delicious. Nice surroundings, including a bar, and a pleasant atmosphere. A must if you're staying in the area, but book beforehand.
