Ashburton, Ashburton Road, BuckfastleighWhile driving in the neighboorhood we were looking for a place for a stop and permitting us also to enjoy the famous devon cream tea.
Well we were not disappointed and were served delicipus scones, clotted cream and jam. We really enjoyed our stop at this inn.
They have a nice large terrace outside overlooking the surroundings. Great service, really a place we would recommend.

Riverford Field Kitchen - Organic Restaurant
Wash Farm, BuckfastleighSuperb, only way to describe it. Wonderful location, unbelievable food, excellent service and very friendly. Definitely not just for vegetarians and dog friendly. So good we signed up for the veg box delivery at home. Don't miss it if you have the chance to go.

54 Fore St, BuckfastleighSoo happy we visited for lunch and tea! This place is run by the loveliest lady! Lunch was delicious, and the scones were absolutely divine. One of the best I’ve had. The atmosphere is lovely. Lunch was perfect. Drinks were great. Kids also enjoyed and ate a lot. Lovely variety on the menu; We had a chilli jacket potato, spaghetti bolognese & a burger for lunch.
Service was fantastic.
They also were open where everywhere else were not serving food (between 2:30-4).
Pity I live far as I’d be a regular!

Dartbridge Inn Buckfastleigh
Totnes Rd, BuckfastleighThis was the second time we visited for a lunch meal, the choice of food and drink is excellent with friendly staff and reasonable prices. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone in the area.
It is also dog friendly.

33 Chapel St, BuckfastleighMy favourite kebab shop, no matter the weather or season the owner Bayram will always ensure the food is made to the best of his abilities. I know for a fact he preps his food every early afternoon, cleans up as he goes along and every night, to engage with a high quality of his environment and product. Can always guarantee a quick and warm kebab or burger, my favourite bossman.

Birdie's Kitchen at the South Devon Railway
Birdie's Kitchen, BuckfastleighWe were going on the Buckfastleigh steam railway and went to the cafe Birdies's.
What an amazing lady behind the counter whose name was Maddie she was amazing.
I'm celiac I asked if there was any gluten free sandwiches and she said not on the shelf but she could make with any filling that I wanted.
Totally amazing especially for gluten free definitely worth a visit for the cafe and the railway. Brilliant
