The menu choices were amazing (usually I can only find 1 or 2 things but I could’ve chosen anything!) and the food was incredible too. I am most impressed with how they catered for my son - gave him colouring, a plastic cup for his drink and suitable crockery for his lunch too. It’s always tricky to eat out with a toddler but this was a dream!

Ringwood Rd, Bransgore, ChristchurchJust had a lovely meal at The Crown. Booked a table in advance put my requirements on booking form and the table we were given was perfect for our party.
We were greeted with a very warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble.
Food was beautifully presented, plentiful and delicious.

My parents are pescaterian and requested a mushroom tom yum soup (instead of chicken and prawn) and I was assured by the lady who took my order that this could be done. When unpacking the take away I discovered that we had been given chicken tom yum soup which was disappointing. The rest of the food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their order. Arguably the best Penang curry I've had yet. The food was ready and waiting, hot and piping exactly when I was told it would be. The restaurant looks so lovely too would love to eat inside (we have a dog hence why we got takeaway).

The Sandpiper, 97 Bure Ln, ChristchurchMy Wife and I visited The Sandpiper today 14th Oct 2025) and we just had a Mains (watching our waistlines and pennies these days) and it was excellent. We both had the Mixed Grill from the Flamingo Grill and value for money was unbeatable. We asked that our appreciation be passed on to the Kitchen Crew. How on earth they can plate up Chicken, Steak, Gammon and Sausaae and an Eeg and Chips all at the same time and present it all beautifully cooked and hot is too good for words.. The Abbot was also perfect. The Atmosphere was fine - reserved - but being Locals we know it gets noisier when the football etc is on. It's just a matter of picking your time. Staff as always are lovely.

95 Mudeford, ChristchurchFantastic food, great service + lovely view of the bay. We asked to be moved to a front row table when one became available which was no problem for our waitress. Very pleased with our lunch visit - finished off soaking up the sun on the comfy chairs in the garden area.

189 Lymington Rd, Highcliffe, ChristchurchHad a Sunday evening meal here with friends. Cruzocampo beer was a good pint for me. Food was very excellent with a good choice from the menu to suit all tastes. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our food, and rounded off with a very good desert souffle.
Lady that served us, was bubbly and full of character, and provided a great interaction with us all. Made our evening, so thanks for that to her.
Recommended if you are in this part of the country.

She didn’t eat much and when clearing away the staff member asked what was wrong. We were given a refund and an offer of an alternative. Excellent service! 123 Purewell, ChristchurchSuperb lunchtime special for the 4 of us today, at the splendid Rising Sun in Christchurch.\nTheir £16.95 for 2 course menu included a starter and a main course, from a selection of around 7 dishes each. Plenty to choose from.\n(The a la carte menu is of course much more extensive.)\nMy satay chicken starter was delicately flavoured and looked great. My beef and mixed peppers in black bean with boiled rice was, again, excellent. I'd asked for no garlic, (apart from the marinade), to be added to my beef. Our waitress checked with the chef. No worries they said. And it arrived just as I prefer it. Big thanks.\nOur gins and wines were excellent, as was the friendly service. Decor is lovely, and the tables are generously large, with good space between. \nAll-in-all, great food and great value.\nIndoor and outdoor dining, easy access, nice toilets. \nWe really enjoyed dining here, and look forward to our next visit.

397 Lymington Rd, Highcliffe, ChristchurchWhat a gem, first time visiting this weekend with the family. Excellent food menu and well delivered - I had the steak and eggs which was 10 out 10. The coffee was one of the best I've had in ages, and we have good coffee shops where I live in Southampton. It has a young team of staff, who were on top form and provided excellent service, even though extremely busy. I will be back, I just wish they had a cafe nearer me. Oh, and cake taste as good as they look!

I'd recommend a great place to book a Sunday roast as its located in the heart of Christchurch and Mudeford just 2 minutes down the road. Looking forward to my next visit. Hope you all love it too!!!

24 Church St, ChristchurchSuch a good location, minutes from the Priory & Quay. A friendly welcome and pleasant decor. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The delicious food was freshly cooked, very tasty and great size portions. We had Steak frites-not a thin steak but large, tasty and cooked as requested. Also Moules frites, cooked in a creamy white wine sauce. It’s my favourite dish and can honestly say it was the best I’ve ever tasted, the sauce was creamy and well seasoned. (So good I spoke to the chef to compliment him on his skills). We both had good sized portions and had Dorset Apple tarte tatin and strawberry pavlova for dessert.

Very reasonably priced and honestly, the food was amazing, so much so we went back the next day.
Carina was a lovely host with incredible customer service, which is hard to find these days.

Lyndhurst Rd, ChristchurchWe always enjoy our meals at the Toby at Hinton. The food is as you would expect from a carvery; there are plenty of vegetarian choices and it is plentiful. We find it good value for money. There is ample parking and it is popular so we usually book if we want to eat at busy times. What really makes this restaurant stand out is the staff team: when you arrive, staff are welcoming, friendly and professional; the chefs always have a chat with you as you select your food and they clarify what is vegetarian; the waiting staff are super; they are also friendly and helpful and add to the atmosphere and the overall experience. We would especially like to thank Kim who served us on this occasion and also mention Liz who on previous visits has been equally friendly. Thank you to the team.

My wife and I shared the mixed starter which we'd highly recommend - so many wonderful flavours! My wife followed it a vegetable and mushroom stir fry, while I chose by the Penang curry with tofu. The latter is not an option for the curries on the menu, but you just need to ask. It was very tasty and a generous portion, with plenty of tofu. We shared a jasmine rice and some plain noodles and the total food bill was under £50, so good value for authentic and tasty Thai food. We'll definitely be visiting again soon.

In the spring summer you can sit outside in a small courtyard gravel garden. In the winter it is cosy with throws on the chairs. Although small it is homely an we are made welcome.Only downside lovely clean toilet is upstairs.It is a old building.!! Not suitable for disabled!!But otherwise great place to visit.

7 Church St, ChristchurchStaying the night in Christchurch (we will return), we came across this restaurant which was close to our hotel, and we are so glad we did! From the lovely staff who greeted us to the chefs who cooked the most delicious pizza and rustic salad everything was perfect. My wife said it was the best pizza she had ever had and (don’t tell her I said this) she doesn’t give out compliments on food lightly! Highly recommended if you find yourself in the area.
