Superb meal & great service!
We were in private dining due to our party size , still plenty of atmosphere as this is just to the side of the bar area. The prix fixe set menu is excellent value for the price & generous portions. We had a fabulous evening.

Came here last Saturday and i was very pleased with the pub. The food was great but the service was even better. I was served by esme she was lovely and very kind. I will be coming again highly recommend.

Maa Indian Restaurant

Wow what a dream, unsure of the menu, but Chris the superstar talked me through the menu. Told him my likes and dislikes, and his recommendations were spot on! Food and service spot on, only place for an Indian in Beverley is Maa! All restaurants need a Chris, will be back again, shame about his football time!

Thai Palace Restaurant

Had dinner here with my partner. Overall it was a good experience. The food was good, the service was superb, good value for money as well. It had a quiet pleasant atmosphere as well. Would happily go back there again.

El Pollo Takeaway

Always come here and the food is such good quality! They even saved a bit of chicken for my pup who was waiting outside with my partner.

Kings Head

Good menu and drinks choice and a hospitable venue . \nWe decided on Bangers and mash with green beans and Scampi for me . Unfortunately the sausages came with Mangetout which my husband cannot eat for dietary reasons ,which is partly why he’d chosen that particular meal choice with green beans . My food was tasty but not very hot when it came . \nOur server was friendly when we ordered and the wait for food was very reasonable but there was no check up on the food during or after our meal . \nWe liked the atmosphere in the Kings Head but one small thing was the signage for the Ladies toilets . Where we were sitting we saw an assortment of ladies searching for the facilities from all directions !

Sumo Pan Asian (Beverley)

Great meal to end the working week. Booked spontaneously and really pleased with our choices. Food was full of flavour and plentiful in volume with great service. Polished off with two lovely cocktails!

Pizza Express

Really enjoyed the food here For two of us we had a sharing platter and a large pepperoni pizza to share Was very full and satisfied by the end of the meal We sat upstairs where it was mainly empty as it was pretty busy on the ground Craig who assisted us throughout was very friendly and helpful A+++ service! ? Only gripe for me was the lack of real potato chips and no tomato sauce I always like to have proper chips or fries with a pizza ? Nobody else probably cares though bout dat!! ?? Otherwise all good and would recommend a visit ?

Hasan's Place

Unbelievable I ordered the mixed kebab for two and I can say it’s the best kebab I have ever had by a long way, the chips come separate and were piping hot also the salad and sauces what were equally as good , and then for the star of the show there was a tray of the most delicious meat rammed pack and all of it was tender and succulent , and enough to feed a small army ! 5 stars all the way ????????

Soju By Sumo

We went the other week. The food and cocktails were amazing. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. Really good quality. The staff are all lovely and very attentive. I left in a rush for my bus and forgot my bag and as I turned around to run back, one of the waiters had already caught up with me to give me it back. If it wasn’t for him I would have missed the bus! 100% recommend this place, I’m already booking to go again ☺️

Excellent service ,very polite and a clean homely pub! food was exceptional too, whilst we was there we also purchased 2 of the poppy glasses too which is something so close to hearts this was so amazing to see we will definitely be back ?

Deep Blue Fish & Chips

Set just behind the main square . Lite bite fish and chips with curry sauce at 6.99 . Spot on .

Shop looked shut on approach , due to lack of lights , but definately open !

Served by a lovely ginger gentleman, couldn’t have asked for better customer service, opened the door for me on my way out! Drinks were fantastic, along with the service!

Greggs

What's not to love about Greggs for a quick stop off or to buy supplies.
Love a cuppa and sausage roll.
Not as much seating area when it's busy but you cant expect everything.

The Green Dragon

It’s a good pub but like a lot of places prices are being pushed way too high. All it will take is a good pub in the town centre and Green Dragon will suffer as it’s lucky to live in a time where not a lot of options elsewhere are available. Staff and Hospitality spot on. ?

The Potting Shed

Hired a space at the potting shed for my late brothers memorial. Communication prior to the event from Kim was superb. She assisted sorting out a buffet for 40 people and ensured the room was sorted for our arrival.
The staff on the night were great and the whole pub has a good atmosphere. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the potting shed for future occasions.

Dolce Vita

Best pizza in the area! We can tell the pizzas are made from fresh, good quality ingredients and baked beautifully in a proper stone pizza oven (the crust is on the thin side and crispy). All the different toppings we have had are beautiful, fresh and tasty. The staff are very friendly and professional. We have plenty of pizza takeaways to choose from where we live, but happily travel 20 minutes to get a GOOD pizza. (My partner reacts badly to low quality pizza dough and has NEVER had a problem here. The dough here is fresh and bakes beautifully. Our little girl with sensory issues loves the pizza from here, it's one of very few meals that she actually really loves and gets excited about.) Thanks Dolce Vita! Pls don't go anywhere!

Vegetarian options: There are a lot of pizza toppings to choose from that are vegetarian. The "make your own" pizza is a great option to customize you pizza to how you want it as well as choosing a prenamed vegetarian pizza.

Kid-friendliness: There is a childrens menu, but our little girl loves the full sized pizza. She has no toppings or cheese, only the crust with the tomato base and sometimes added garlic butter. The staff are fantastic and do their best to make her happy with what she gets.

Wheelchair accessibility: Takeaway is on ground level. Just a small bump to roll over in doorway.

Ciao Takeaway

Absolutely amazing, had the BEST chicken Kiev pizza from here, super garlicky! Garlic and cheese dough balls are so nice too! The guy who owns ciao is super polite and friendly! Definitely would order again!

Queens Head - HOME DELIVERY SERVICE AVAILABLE

Good food at good prices.Very generous portions (even the light bites !) Proper salad , not just a piece of lettuce and tomato like some. Great steak pie with options of chips,mash or potatoes with 3 different vegs .Even had ratatouille on the plate ! Great choice of drinks. Good service.Whats not to like !

Quick and generous! Got the buttermilk ranch.. no option to add cheese online so ordered extra sauce and wrote a comment asking for cheese and just 1 pot of sauce. They added cheese and gave me 3 pots of sauce!. Food was great as always:)

Olive Tree Takeaway Beverley

Brilliant takeaway, it arrived a lot faster than expected and it was full of flavour. They even rang me to make sure I had received it as it was delivered to work. Prices are also great for what you get and those salt and pepper boxes are fantastic!!

We’ve ordered from this Chinese takeaway a couple of times since it came under new management, and it’s absolutely fantastic! The food is delicious, really fresh and full of flavour, with generous portion sizes and great value for money.
The service is just as impressive – the girl on the front is always polite, welcoming and does a brilliant job. Tonight there was also a new member of staff serving, and he was just as friendly with excellent customer service.
It’s quickly become our go-to for Chinese food, and we’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Called in by accident about 6 weeks ago and so impressed went back again. A "chain" pub but lots of separate seating areas make for a cosy feel . Food above average as well. Order from the table which always impresses me

The Monks Walk

Fantastic place to visit - staff are great and the music/pizza events are absolutely spot on!
Only downside is that when (very infrequently) a group displays unruly behaviour or inappropriate language (to the detriment of other customers), no one seems capable or confident enough to approach and deal with the problem.
Overall though - a lovely place to drink and relax.

Rose & Crown - Beverley

First visit to the pub with my partner and 2 dogs, we were made to feel very welcome, they brought our dogs some water, we ordered the black and blue burger ? and the smoky joe burger ?, both where delicious, proper chips and huge onion rings, we didn't have dessert as we where to full, will definitely be going back again, staff where very nice, even saw an ex colleague i use to work with (Ben) .

Chequers Micropub

If you haven't been to Chequers you must! It's an excellent pub for those who love their cask ales, but it also has several craft beers available on keg lines, so there's something for everyone.No TV, no music, no fruit machines, no wi-fi, so just sit back and enjoy the beer and have a chat with someone.

Junk Soul Smothered

Amazing food today, thank you Andy! We headed up to Junk Soul Smothered for our treat, and to say they absolutely smashed it would be an understatement. The festive menu looks amazing, and our choices (some festive, some just fabulous) were all absolutely delish. Gravy wellington, smash burger, beer battered onion rings, and scoffles, all expertly cooked and served with a real welcome. The place itself is a wonderfully cosy place, with a real fun warm feel to it (and I don’t just mean because it’s warm inside out of the rain today!). Chairs have blankets on them ready for people, and the radiators and hot food kept us warm while we enjoyed the food. There’s space upstairs as well, so plenty of room for food and drinks, but still worth calling to book as it can get busy, especially in nicer weather.

Costa Coffee

Called in for a drink and decided to have a bite to eat, got the Mac & Cheese which was very nice. The customer service I received from Joe was excellent, friendly & polite which is what a chain such as Costa depends on.

Parking: 2 disable parking spots and over 20 regular spots in the immediate area of store,, additional parking across the way

Wheelchair accessibility: Wide entrance door with help call button accessible toilet, loop for hearing aid although card machine too high for wheelchair users or anyone with hight restrictions

Akash Restaurant

I ordered from here tonight from Justeat but somehow it didn't record that I'd ordered from the Premier Inn, luckily the restaurant spotted this and gave me a call, they also called when they arrived with the food, great service. Honestly one of the best I've had! Lovely mixed tandoori starter, great Bombay aloo and curry, the garlic naan was really strong with garlic which I love. 10/10 I would definitely go back.

Central 42

We first visited with friends 2 weeks ago and were so impressed we've been back twice already. The service is warm, friendly and efficient. The menu gives a good choice of dishes and the food is very well presented and tastes delicious. If you have visited, I need say no more, but if you have not, I would definitely recommend you do so. A very pleasant dining experience awaits. (Bon appetite)

Pipe and Glass

Our 8th visit to the Pipe and Glass and once again it did not disappoint. The food and service here is just great. Every course was fab and the 30 day aged fillet of beef I had was just the best. Keep doing what you're doing team Pipe and Glass, we love it so thanks again for a great evening.

Been twice in the past 3 weeks. Had pie 1st visit then guinea fowl 2nd visit, both really good meals.
Service really good 1st visit, but 2nd visit it was slow.
Will absolutely visit again as it's great value for money too and a lovely location.

Tiger Inn

Had a lovely meal here recommend by the manager at The Sun Inn. Fish & Chips were nicely done, as was the Steak & Ale Pie. We had an issue with one chicken dish, but it was quickly replaced and the situation was handled very well by our waitress. We’ll be back.

Opposite markuspencius you find Pollys,a great little place to meet up with friends,workmates,groups,family or just yourself. We had bacon/sausage(delicious) butties,poached eggs on toast and a GF option too. . Nice pot of tea and a coffee. Will go back to try the lunch menu.

Thank you for turning out to the market in freezing, snowy weather on 3rd January. We bought the bacon & cheese and salmon & asparagus croissant, lemon meringue ball and raspberry tart. All were absolutely delicious. Thank you for baking delicious food?

Cane here with my friend on Friday night. The service was brilliant, they were so lovely. I had the monkfish pondicherry and my friend had the plaice special. We also treated ourselves to mini desserts with dessert wine. The food was delicious and portions were generous.

Sleepers Bar & Kitchen Beverley

We went on a Saturday night for a family member’s birthday, waited a long time for drinks and even longer time for our meal, people that after us where eating before us, so not happy over an hour and half from arriving till we received food. The food its self excellent really enjoyed. The pudding ordered and waited 15 minutes to be told they didn’t have what we ordered but again the quality very good. Complained to the manager about the service and he was very apologetic and did make allowances when it came to the bill, we left happy with what he did for us. Hopefully a bad night for them, would go back as the food was very good and hopefully they’d get the service right.

Second time we've been here, the staff are lovely and pleasant, were happy to give us black pudding with a small breakfast as we didn't want to go bigger, the dining room is lovely and airy and bright, and the top up on our cups of tea was well appreciated!

Visited this little café whilst in Beverley for a few hours on a Sunday, it was a pretty busy day when we visited as there was a 10k run taking place! Despite that we visited this café to grab some breakfast and we got a seat straight away. The place looked popular as there were people sat inside and outside the premises.

The café looked well presented, clean and a nice selection on the menu. My husband and I both opted for poached eggs on toast, with a choice of white or brown bread. I opted for white bread and you got two slices with two poached eggs plus some lovely lurpak butter. I also had a glass of orange juice and my husband had a latte.

The waitress was friendly who took our order and we were given the option to pay straight away before our food and drinks arrived. We were happy to do so as it meant we could leave as soon as we’d finished.

The food was nice, nothing too fancy as it was just eggs on toast. The drinks were okay too, my husband said he enjoyed his latte. Perhaps it was ever so slightly over priced as you could probably get the same for less at a local Wetherspoons however it’s good to support local independent businesses.

Would recommend and would be nice to try some other options on their menu.

The Highfield in Beverley

Hadn't been in Highfields in along time, friends told me and the wife to give it ago as its under new management we weren't disappointed it's friendly relaxed and a warm welcome we had Sunday lunch big plates small price and the venue is different from the norm. They are worthy of 5 stars don't take any notice of negative reviews.

Mirage Cocktail Bar and Bistro

Superb food. For the centre of a town, the prices were quite reasonable between £10-16 for a burger with a generous portion of chips (seasoned to perfection with paprika) and some coleslaw. The staff were all very friendly and the service was incredibly fast, it all came out in 15 minutes. For an early lunch, it was quite quiet, it was very easy to talk and there was plenty of availability for walk ins. Overall, I would 100% recommend this place to someone visiting Beverley in need of some good food.

Turpins Coffee House

An excellent place to enjoy good food. Service was quick and efficient and very friendly. The food was cooked freshly and yet didn't take long to come. Lots of specials were on the blackboard and all the food looked delicious and steaming hot . Some customers were regulars and greeted by the staff like friends. Would definitely visit again.

Cracking little pub, we went to watch the England match, first time in pub and we were made very welcome, landlord & lady are fab, the barmaid was spot on, great beer at a great price, what a little diamond. We will be back next time we visit. Thankyou for the hospitality and a fab evening

Excellent chippy in Lincoln Way, Beverley - in fact easily the best in Beverley. As they are owned by Stuarts of Driffield, I wasn't expecting much, as since the company took over the chippy's at Mill Lane, and Grovehill Road, Beverley, their services are simply dreadful. So I've been using a Chippy 8 miles away in Hull. But I thought I would give this one a try - and I'm glad I did.The food is fantastic. The service is prompt and accurate. The staff are friendly, and the place is very clean and tidy. Maybe the company (and other Beverley chippys) could learn a thing or two from this outlet, about how to provide proper customer service.

Tesco Cafe

First time visiting and plenty of food choices so I don't have to stick with sandwiches. They even have toddler friendly menu which is amazing. Tried the Shashuka styled egg, not Morrocan taste but the spices does warms me up and tastes great.

Leven Chippy

Don’t listen to the bad reviews. The couple that own the chippy are lovely and hard working. The other staff members are also incredibly friendly and it’s a good vibe on a busy Saturday. It is cash or bank transfer, which is for tax reasons. It isn’t ‘dodgy’, it’s just a way to get by without getting taxed that much. A lot of businesses do it these days. Food is great, specifically the Chinese food, I think that’s their specialty. If you’re going to have a tantrum over time then get over yourself! Never takes long at all for me.

Took a while to get a table here but it was worth the wait, the food was tasty and came piping hot, very good prices too might I add here! All the staff I came across were friendly and helpful, im definitely coming back here!

Grovehill Fisheries (Stuart's of Driffield)

I have started travelling out from my area simply to have good quality fish and chips. Much better than any of our locals. Chips are lovely, fish very flavoursome and peas great too. Would definitely recommend stuarts group fisheries!!

Perhaps the best McDonald’s I’ve eaten. I love the breakfast crew and the dinner crew so much. Always working hard as well as having a laugh. It’s a great atmosphere.

The Cross Keys - JD Wetherspoon

The Cross Keys is a traditional pub, a typical Wetherspoon's. On this visit we both chose a traditional breakfast and coffee (which you get from a self service coffee machine). It was all very nice at a reasonable price.
