I love Pizza and have eaten them all around the world.

I must say, this was the best pizza I have ever eaten..!!

Plus the owners are the nicest people you could ever meet.

So passionate about their craft and product.

Needless to say we went 4 more times within 4 weeks.

Nice restaurant and nice service. I took the butterflies shrimps, and it was delicious. I just wish there would have been more shrimps and a bit less chips. But it was overall a nice experience.

Always a treat to eat here. Very friendly staff and really tasty Philippino entirely vegan food at reasonable prices. A wide range of dishes to choose from and the menu completely changes from time to time, so there's always something different to try.

They do a fill-your-plate buffet at lunchtime which is a great way to try a little of everything.

They're slightly back from the sea front so they don't get nearly as much foot traffic as they deserve. This does mean though you generally won't need to book ahead.

Once in several years you find a gem like this!
The homecooked food was simply wonderful. As was the landlady who has the amazing talent for making everyone feel special. We only found this place having walked out of the beefeater up the hill in discussed at the managers rudeness. So thank you beefeater for helping us find such a special place. We shall return.

Was there to dine alone. They gave me a window seat where I can enjoy the seabreeze as well as my dinner?? I ordered a local sea bass for main and all of it was so delicious. The sauté potatoes were crispy outside and soft inside (just like the texture of mashed potatoes).

The sea bass were marinated with parsley and garlic butter, the marinade did not take away the flavour of the sea bass, it was balanced so well that I can taste the freshness of the sea bass and also the flavour they added.

With the salad, I thought it was just a normal salad. But nope, there were cucumbers, bell peppers, green leaves, cherry tomatoes cooked to perfect ripeness.

It was also extra kind for the restaurant to have given me crispy squid on the side?? The squid was SO FRESH, not just soft (like the frozen ones). Perfect!

Wasn't lucky enough to try the food as I was passing through Hastings quickly, but I did grab a drink, the fruit punch. They also have the ORANGE glass bottled Fanta orange (you'll know why I've capitalised the orange if you've tasted the difference in fantas). The smell coming from the kitchen was mouth watering, the music blasting from inside the shop mixed with the smell of the food drew me in! The man who I assume is the owner is a fellow londonder, really really nice guy. If I'm ever passing through Hastings again I will 1 million% be making time to grab a plate. Its great to see Caribbean / African restaurants that are truly authentic outside of the big cities! More business & more blessings ??

We went to a Sea Shanty evening held on Thursdays and it was great fun and featured plenty of public participation. A really great night has been had!

If you are visiting Hastings, you have to go to The Crown. During our day out in Hastings, We found this cozy pub just a short walk from the beach, and we really enjoyed the food. We went for the Roast Fillet of Coley with crisp potatoes, paired with Rothaus beer—the food was exquisite. Although we didn’t booked in advance, we were able to find a table. This is a comfortable spot with great food and atmosphere, highly recommended.

This is an favourite old pub in the old town in Hastings, dating back to, I think, the 16th century.
It has been a favourite of hours for nearly two decades and we've seen it through various different managements.

Standard Shepherds Neame drink selection, but the menu on offer is very much the opposite of standard.

We came for dinner and I had the Grilled Mackerel grilled mackerel fillets with roasted new potatoes, summer greens and olive salsa.
The food was delicious, I could have licked the plate clean!
Dinner service starts at 18:00.

The pub offers some live music events and boasts a very green and pleasant mutl tiered outdoor beer garden to the rear.

We came for bottomless brunch, cerys was our main server and she was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive and personable and always made sure our drinks were topped up and checked in to make sure our food was good. Whilst on holiday in the area, we saw Nur when we are in Hastings. It looked nice enough for us to book to return a few evenings later on our wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed! Great food, excellent service and good atmosphere. Above all, a bonus that they are dog-friendly! Beef stroganoff I had was probably the best I have ever had, prepared in the classic way of thin strips of beef rather than lazy way using diced beef (which so many restaurants seem to do these days). Thoroughly recommended and we will be back in the future. Thank you ?

The food is amazing. This was our second visit here. The staff are more than happy for young children to dine here too, which is fantastic. Adult and children's menus are available. The prices are very good value. £6 for a child's meal and the children's portions are generous as well. Next time we're in Hastings, this is a family favourite and we'll be back. The pulled pork and cheese baguettes are amazing. Thank you

The food is always piping hot, fresh and delicious and the mock duck and chicken are amazing. Not greasy at all, the vegetables taste fresh and we're always really pleased with every dish that we order and they're happy to make adjustments. Staff are friendly and deliver promptly to Icklesham, we wanted to leave them a public review so other people can see what a top notch place it is.

Top class. I don't normally do a review, but this experience deserves a mention. My wife and l, had the Rump steak, it was without a doubt, the best steak meal we have ever had. Followed with Key lime pie for my wife and roasted peanut banoffee pie for me, both were to die for. Top all that with first class friendly service. All l can say is, if your in Hastings do yourself a favour and go give them a go, you won't regret it.

We had steak, and a cauliflower cheese, and both were good portions well cooked.\nthe pub was quiet as it was a Monday night, they reportedly do a two steaks meal deal on Tuesday nights, though as my wife doesn't eat steak no good for us, but we did return Wednesday night for the Blues 'open mic' night live music, mostly they were fair.\nstaff were welcoming and good company both nights.

Came to Hastings a few times over the last eight years and we always aimed to come to this cafe on our visits. It’s always been pleasant.
Best thing for this visit is that they have got sandwiches and other food in addition to the cakes!! The beef pastrami toasties were absolutely delicious! The salad is very tasty too. Highly recommended!
The cafe is beautiful and relaxing with plants and nice easy music. Owners are very friendly. Really enjoyed time here.

Lovely little bar with a very cosy vibe. The barmaid- I think she said her name was Daisy- was so welcoming, couldn’t have done enough for us. We had a few burgers which as always were cooked to perfection and served with a smile. Will definitely be returning soon to try the rest of the menu!!
