Matt and the other team members were very welcoming and accommodating from the day we arrived from Canada, Nova Scotia. We had previously purchased their gift cards and visited the micro brewery & Kitchen for the 3 days prior to our cruise. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the layout of the restaurant, especially the outdoor area patio. The place had a nice vibe to it with lots of people. Our last night there we did the whiskey and beer tasting which included a meal. It was a fun and enjoyable time by all of us at our table.

We will definitely visit again should we cross the pond again to Old Portsmouth, UK.

I was floored at the price of the bill ( was so much cheaper than we expected from the quality /deliciousness of food ) . Myself and partner had a drink and multiple tapas and it only cost £53 ( amazing ) . Toilet was really clean ( sorry , I always factor this in to any restaurant visit ) . Banging roast... Had the Sunday special between 2 of us, it would easily have fed 3/4 and then you would have room for pudding... We didn't ?? my only gripe was the only greens were kale, personally I would have liked some broccoli ? the home made Yorkshire pudding was one of the best I've had.

Visited this undiscovered gem for lunch today with my father. We both had regular cod and chips with a drink each. Can quite honestly say this is the best cod and chips I've ever eaten and my father agreed (and he's 88 this year so plenty of meals to compare against). Batter was perfect, not greasy but light and crunchy and flavourful. The same quality for the chips. We took the time to personally tell the chef and won't hesitate to visit again. Service was also superb, shown to a table straight away. All staff appeared smart, friendly and helpful

I've been to The Deco a few times now with friends, it's recommended to take a form of photo id to get entry especially at the weekends, the staff are lovely, the music is alternative, so if you're expecting chart or pop music, this is not the place that you're going to hear it in. I remember when it was The Elms back in the 80's, and it was known as a alternative pub back then.

I had ice cream and was very happy that the cafe has several vegan flavours including my favourites: salted caramel and vanilla. These flavours were delicious, they were not the sorbet type, rather 'milky' and not too sweet, just the right amount. Two scoops are around £4, I'd say that's reasonably priced, though that's how much I paid recently in some central London ice cream places. Nevertheless, I recommend visiting for the vegan ice cream. The location of the cafe is very good too - has a nice ambience being right at the lake overlooking the swans.

The fish and chips here are consistently the best I’ve ever tasted. Everything is cooked freshly and stays hot in the wrapping. Crisp batter, soft fish and the chips are cooked to perfection. The owners are friendly and welcoming and have run the business themselves for years. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for fish and chips.

The Old Pier Hut

Visited last Friday whilst we were on a visit to Southsea and we smelt it first (which is how we found it… ?) We both had the full Gyros experience with a cheeky Mythos and it was excellent. Cannot fault it at all and considering it was on the seafront, great value as well. Wish more fast food places were like this, lovely staff as well. Well done, folks!!!

The thin crust pizza is worth the price (Pepperoni with added toppings~ £15 approx.)
The chicken wings are a must try I would say!
The garlic bread is not up to my expectations. I thought it was a crispy one.
Overall, if you are searching for a good pizza then this is worth it.

Southsea Inks / PC Repair Shop

I can’t speak highly enough of Andy and Southsea Inks. A few weeks ago our old Windows 8 PC stopped working and I needed to replace it quickly, but coming so soon after Xmas I couldn’t stretch to a new tower so I went to Southsea Inks as I knew that they sold second hand PCs and laptops. I explained to Andy what I needed and he showed me 3 PCs around the £100 mark, but when I said that what I was buying today was purely a stop gap he showed me a Dell Optiplex 7020 for £50! It was a no brainer really as the PC came with a new SSD with a 1 year warranty, a 3 month warranty on the rest of the PC and a Microsoft office package. All of this with Windows 10 Pro too!
Nearly a month later the PC is working fine and I suspect that it will be a bit more than a stop gap over time. The purchase price also meant that we could buy a new printer as out ancient Lexmark wasn’t compatible with Windows 10.
So all in all a really good experience! It’s worth noting that the atmosphere in Southsea Inks is really chilled and friendly, and that Andy lets you take as much time as you want to make you your own mind about what to buy. 10/10 :)

Our waiter was called Sri and he was fantastic!
He gave amazing service, gave recommendations on food which we loved !

Food was 10/10 got 3 starters snd 3 mains which was well worth it.

Just spent the afternoon at one of the South Coast Cookery workshops held in the Deli. Amazing! Dan was an excellent teacher and super helpful. The set up is great, with enough space for everyone to get involved and still easily see what is going on. We've walked away with some beautiful fresh pasta for dinner and lots of tips for trying it again at home. Would highly recommend the classes as well as the Deli, where we had a lovely coffee before the class started. Thank you so much!
