Black Swan Inn
2 Union St, SeahousesReally delicious, well prepared food that was presented beautifully. Alfie was attentive, unobtrusive, polite and friendly. I was sad that the seafood platter is only available to multiples of diners. I am a seafood eater and my husband an absolute meat eater. We had visited the Black Swan specially, whilst on holiday, in order that I could get good seafood. I would have willingly paid the price but we were returning home the next day so I hadn't the means of transporting the other half of the platter. Please look at making a smaller platter available, not for half the price, necessarily, but to allow single seafood eaters to enjoy the glorious food you prepare.
The orangery is a delightful place to eat and our small dog was made welcome on our lunchtime visit. The atmosphere was only lower because we were the only diners.

Salt Water Cafe
The Wynding, Beadnell, ChathillWe visited on a cold, wet & windy afternoon along with a wet and muddy dog and were made very welcome. We both had the fish & chips, which was delicious. Very friendly place with a great menu, would definitely recommend.

Beef cooked beautifully, and pork also lovely. Vegetables varied and cooked as we liked them, not hard like you get elsewhere. Everything served piping hot and portions huge, and fantastic value. Staff were efficient, friendly and very helpful and served our meal very quickly. We will be back

2 King St, SeahousesIf you want a proper Doner this is where to go (the awards speak for themselves). Quality lamb Doner, fresh prepared salad including tangy pickled red cabbage, sharp red onion, the works. Home made chili sauce with a hint of zest. They genuinely care about quality here. I urge anyone coming to the area for the summer to pay them a visit. Pizza and chicken dishes great for the kids. You could order anything off the menu and it will be perfect. Also they are great with allergies, food intolerance etc. Just ask the staff, they know their menu and suppliers very well. Extremely friendly and helpful.

34 Main St, SeahousesBe aware the two blokes in this shop have no sense of humour, hence the four stars! That said I agree with all the five star reviews. this is a well stocked Indepentant Deli. If they dont have it you probably are not going to get it in Seahouses! Worth popping in and have a few jokes ready!
P.S. It's really five stars I'm just having a laugh!
