Went for a cheeky £6 meal today. Place was nice and busy without being crowded. Very friendly staff were on hand but I loaded the app to try. It was very easy to order and the food and drinks came quickly with another friendly smile and comment. I had the tikka masala and my husband had the fish and chips. There was plenty and it was all hot and nicely cooked. Will be coming regularly methinks.

We called in for a Sunday roast a few weeks ago, the food was delicious. Staff are very good, and the owners are lovely. Since then we have been in the evening for another delicious meal, the pudding are very nice to. Overall this place is a hidden gem. Well worth a visit! Lovely outlook over the marina, they are dog friendly to in the bar area.

I made an order online but then called to ask if everything could be made vegan (I know they have an extensive vegan menu) and I wanted to make sure I'd ordered correctly. A gentleman called Hassan had already spoken to the kitchen to ensure all items where cooked to the vegan recipe. The food arrived on time, the delivery man was very friendly and polite and the whole meal was absolutely delicious.

The Riverside Inn is in a great location, and has a welcoming, modern décor which invites you to spend an hour with a pint at the bar, or spend a couple of hours having a Sunday roast dinner, or anything in between.
On our visit, late afternoon on a Friday, there weren't many customers, and we were greeted and seated quickly in a dog friendly space, which was part of the reason we'd chosen to visit. Dogs are catered for very well, with water bowls and treats in a jar available for you to help yourself. They also offer a full canine menu, with options including a roast chicken dinner for approximately £10.
The range of choices on our menu was good, with a solid selection of those from the main menu as part of the lunchtime and early evening deal. Also available were sandwiches for around £9.50 each, and so we chose those as we felt best value for money and also for the time of day, a lighter bite would be preferred.
2 of us had chicken BLT, and another had a posh fish fingers sandwich. All were very good quality, piping hot, and tasty. We all commented on how much we'd enjoyed them. We then decided on some desserts, a chocolate brownie and a lemon tart. Unfortunately these were a little underwhelming, and slightly let down the food score. There was very little lemon flavour in the tart, and the brownie was not a slice of brownie, more of square of cake. The prices for the desserts didn't seem to be qualified in their quality, unfortunately.
Overall, the service was friendly, but was quite slow. Between finishing the meals and asking for dessert menus felt a significant time, and then between placing the dessert order and them arriving at the table seemed to take even longer. However, generally a positive experience, and I will be visiting Riverside Inn again

I've just tried this place for the first time and the moment I finished chewing my final bite of my burger I just had to leave a review! The burger was genuinely the nicest burger I remember eating. Ever. The patty was perfectly cooked, the ratio perfect, the sauce delicious and the lettuce fresh and crisp.

I'm currently debating ordering a second one.. .

My wifes choice, tbh I'm not particularly a fun of Sunday lunch whereas she can't get enough. She has pork belly and loved everything about it, I had steak,ale and mushroom pie with chips and mushy peas and enjoyed every bit of it. I can see us coming up again in the not to distant future, despite it being a 120 mile round trip!

After hearing good local reviews of the Stanley Arms that’s recently been taken over we decided to give it a go, service was good and food even better we were not disappointed.
Our only gripe was there doesn’t seem to be a set area for our 4 legged friends. As we had a dog nr by watching our every fork full a bit off putting.
Other than that a really nice evening was enjoyed good food and atmosphere.

Lovely country pub set in the Historic Village of Comberbach. We stayed overnight in our motorhome on a pub stop, and had a great night. The menu was relatively small which made choosing much easier. He had Fish and Chips I had a Chicken Salad with a side of Sweet Potato Fries - great portion sizes, and delicious!
Staff and locals were friendly, and Bonnie was made very welcome.

Attended the Hart of Hartford x Baity supper club (August 25th) and it was brilliant. The food was delicious with massive portions and the staff were attentive and very knowledgable about the food. I would highly recommend to anyone. 10/10 and we will be attending the next Supper Club!

Popped into this interesting old pub on my travels. Only had a half which did the job. It’s directly opposite the old Lyon’s salt works. Fairly big inside and well done out. It’s pretty cosy. There’s a games room with a good pool table and darts board. The building probably has a great history but I couldn’t get to the bottom of it on my brief visit. The young lady behind the bar was very friendly and chatty. Dog friendly. The kitchen isn’t up and running as of yet but hopefully will soon. The carpark is big and flat enough for a van stop over but you’ll have to ring ahead as they won’t take anything bigger than a transporter or transit size. I any call again if they let me stay one… ? ?

Visited Vinnies by chance and what a great find it turned out to be.
We had a tuna and cheese pannini, which was lovely, then a few cakes.. Amazing!
We enjoyed it so much we went back a couple of days later on the last day of our holiday and got another selection of cakes for the journey home, along with a great milkshake.
All of the cakes are baked on site by the very friendly staff and it's hard to find a bakery nowadays where the cakes are not made in factories and shipped into storefronts, that's why I would highly recommend this place.

It’s tea time, the suns out, and I’m sipping a cold one sat by the canal.
The Lambs Wharf is in an ideal location for live music. Even the background music is awesome, modern light rock.

This restaurant is an absolute gem! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was out of this world and felt like were eating food back in Portugal.

Fantastic pub.
Entertainment regularly on at the weekends from live bands to karaoke and themed nights. From pina colada to wild west themes with interactive activities from live Djs to rides and pool parties and 90's nights, accoustic events.
Pool table and sports available with boxing and football. Good choice of draught beer and cider, spirits and bottled, shots offers, cocktails, including wine and prosecco.
Very clean and well maintained bar and toilets. Good local community spirit and the landlady Claire works hard to put different events on that make all feel welcome including families.
Good sized beer garden too with parking at the side. Location in the heart of Castle with good access to town and local shops, take aways etc.
Highly recommend ♥️
