Forest Rd, Cuddington, NorthwichWent for a cheeky £6 meal today. Place was nice and busy without being crowded. Very friendly staff were on hand but I loaded the app to try. It was very easy to order and the food and drinks came quickly with another friendly smile and comment. I had the tikka masala and my husband had the fish and chips. There was plenty and it was all hot and nicely cooked. Will be coming regularly methinks.

It does, however, cook and serve great food, and provide lovely service, and is a definate competitor for it's more obvious rivals in and around the town.\n\nOnly issue, is that it is lacking in atmosphere, because, for whatever reason Northwichians are not coming in droves to eat some of the best curry available in Northwich. The take out crowd are switched on to the quality and variety of food available from this tandoori house, but I have yet to see a full restaurant or be disappointed at not getting a table. Not a problem for me as it means when I want to eat a good curry, I can.

Riverside Inn
Acton Bridge, NorthwichThe Riverside Inn is in a great location, and has a welcoming, modern décor which invites you to spend an hour with a pint at the bar, or spend a couple of hours having a Sunday roast dinner, or anything in between.
On our visit, late afternoon on a Friday, there weren't many customers, and we were greeted and seated quickly in a dog friendly space, which was part of the reason we'd chosen to visit. Dogs are catered for very well, with water bowls and treats in a jar available for you to help yourself. They also offer a full canine menu, with options including a roast chicken dinner for approximately £10.
The range of choices on our menu was good, with a solid selection of those from the main menu as part of the lunchtime and early evening deal. Also available were sandwiches for around £9.50 each, and so we chose those as we felt best value for money and also for the time of day, a lighter bite would be preferred.
2 of us had chicken BLT, and another had a posh fish fingers sandwich. All were very good quality, piping hot, and tasty. We all commented on how much we'd enjoyed them. We then decided on some desserts, a chocolate brownie and a lemon tart. Unfortunately these were a little underwhelming, and slightly let down the food score. There was very little lemon flavour in the tart, and the brownie was not a slice of brownie, more of square of cake. The prices for the desserts didn't seem to be qualified in their quality, unfortunately.
Overall, the service was friendly, but was quite slow. Between finishing the meals and asking for dessert menus felt a significant time, and then between placing the dessert order and them arriving at the table seemed to take even longer. However, generally a positive experience, and I will be visiting Riverside Inn again

The burger was genuinely the nicest burger I remember eating. Ever. The patty was perfectly cooked, the ratio perfect, the sauce delicious and the lettuce fresh and crisp.

Warrington Rd, NorthwichLovely country pub set in the Historic Village of Comberbach. We stayed overnight in our motorhome on a pub stop, and had a great night. The menu was relatively small which made choosing much easier. He had Fish and Chips I had a Chicken Salad with a side of Sweet Potato Fries - great portion sizes, and delicious!
Staff and locals were friendly, and Bonnie was made very welcome.

35-37 School Ln, Hartford, NorthwichAttended the Hart of Hartford x Baity supper club (August 25th) and it was brilliant. The food was delicious with massive portions and the staff were attentive and very knowledgable about the food. I would highly recommend to anyone. 10/10 and we will be attending the next Supper Club!

Manchester Rd, Lostock Gralam, Northwichcame up from liverpool to visit family, Carley was absolutely lovely, polite and friendly and nothing was too much of an ask…food was lovely highly recommend the mac and cheese with southern fried chicken and skin on chips it was delish. 10/10 would definitely go back on my next visit.

Entertainment regularly on at the weekends from live bands to karaoke and themed nights. From pina colada to wild west themes with interactive activities from live Djs to rides and pool parties and 90's nights, accoustic events.
Pool table and sports available with boxing and football. Good choice of draught beer and cider, spirits and bottled, shots offers, cocktails, including wine and prosecco.
Very clean and well maintained bar and toilets. Good local community spirit and the landlady Claire works hard to put different events on that make all feel welcome including families.
Good sized beer garden too with parking at the side. Location in the heart of Castle with good access to town and local shops, take aways etc.

Bit grubby in areas and the toilets need attention. Not sure what the upstairs seating area is like and I wonder if the rest of the pub is a bit more spacious/clean. Great menu with lots of choice. Would call again to try a different dish.

We had a tuna and cheese pannini, which was lovely, then a few cakes.. Amazing!
We enjoyed it so much we went back a couple of days later on the last day of our holiday and got another selection of cakes for the journey home, along with a great milkshake.
All of the cakes are baked on site by the very friendly staff and it's hard to find a bakery nowadays where the cakes are not made in factories and shipped into storefronts, that's why I would highly recommend this place.

Uplands Rd, Anderton, NorthwichWe called in for a Sunday roast a few weeks ago, the food was delicious. Staff are very good, and the owners are lovely. Since then we have been in the evening for another delicious meal, the pudding are very nice to. Overall this place is a hidden gem. Well worth a visit! Lovely outlook over the marina, they are dog friendly to in the bar area.

Abbeywood Estate, Gardens & Wedding Venue
Chester Rd, Delamere, NorthwichWe recently got married at Abbeywood and I just wanted to say how absolutely perfect the whole day was! From the moment we booked our special Harry Potter themed day, Jess and the team were on hand to help. They made the whole process totally stress free and their communication was Absolutely fabulous. We can’t thank Jess and the team enough for truly the best wedding ever! The venue is absolutely stunning. They have a dedicated hair and make up room, they Absoltuely nailed our food brief ( we requested grazing tables and they went down a treat!) they helped set up a first look with my husband in the lovely house and truly nothing was too much trouble! We were able to set up the day before and the morning after the team had put all our decorations together for us to take home. All of our guests commented on how reasonable the bar was, how stunning the venue was and how they all had the best day ever. Not only that but Abbeywood allowed us to have our German shepherd with us all day at the venue! This shows just how dog friendly they are! If you are looking for the most perfect wedding venue in Cheshire that has the best staff, best venue and nicest food then look no further! Thank you again. A day we will never forget. Fairly big inside and well done out. It’s pretty cosy. There’s a games room with a good pool table and darts board. The building probably has a great history but I couldn’t get to the bottom of it on my brief visit. The young lady behind the bar was very friendly and chatty. Dog friendly. The kitchen isn’t up and running as of yet but hopefully will soon. The carpark is big and flat enough for a van stop over but you’ll have to ring ahead as they won’t take anything bigger than a transporter or transit size. I any call again if they let me stay one… ? ?

The Slow & Easy
Manchester Rd, Lostock Gralam, Northwichcame up from liverpool to visit family, Carley was absolutely lovely, polite and friendly and nothing was too much of an ask…food was lovely highly recommend the mac and cheese with southern fried chicken and skin on chips it was delish. 10/10 would definitely go back on my next visit.

2 School Ln, Sandiway, NorthwichFinally got around to having lunch at Define. We can't believe what we've been missing! We had a fabulous lunch, lovely surroundings and attentive staff. We couldn't understand why it wasn't packed out on a Friday lunchtime! Can't recommend it highly enough.

The Lambs Wharf

It’s tea time, the suns out, and I’m sipping a cold one sat by the canal.
The Lambs Wharf is in an ideal location for live music. Even the background music is awesome, modern light rock.
Will definitely be visiting again.

Entertainment regularly on at the weekends from live bands to karaoke and themed nights. From pina colada to wild west themes with interactive activities from live Djs to rides and pool parties and 90's nights, accoustic events.
Pool table and sports available with boxing and football. Good choice of draught beer and cider, spirits and bottled, shots offers, cocktails, including wine and prosecco.
Very clean and well maintained bar and toilets. Good local community spirit and the landlady Claire works hard to put different events on that make all feel welcome including families.
Good sized beer garden too with parking at the side. Location in the heart of Castle with good access to town and local shops, take aways etc.

Extremely well priced, 100 times better than Nandos.
