Castle Carrock, BramptonAbsolutely excellent dinner here. 3 courses for us and 2 children. Wide range of food eaten and all was gorgeous! Atmosphere was a buzzing countey pub that was rather up market inside. Pleanty of space outside for sitting and having a drink and dining also. Definitely recommend

4 Hall Terrace, Gilsland, BramptonWe came here for lunch after visiting Hadrian's Wall. It was a lovely place with good food! They had gluten free bread and a gluten free carrot cake which was amazing! I'm not celeac, but enjoyed the cake immensely

Blenkinsopp Castle Inn, BramptonThis Inn has to be one of the best yet! Food and service were brilliant. The Inn is gorgeous! Wonderful large car park for the motorhomes and nothing was too much trouble for the staff and owners. Breakfast was out of this world - Well worth a visit xx I think that Mandy Tritton needs to visit more appropriate stays for her money. i.e. Redcar or Skegness!

Corton Wood, Brampton, Brampton Bierlow, BarnsleyIt's a pleasant place to shop and the breakfast was excellent. External gardening shop was well-stocked with reasonably priced plants. Just bought a birthday card for eldest daughter...easy shopping.
