Castle Carrock, BramptonMy partner and I were staying in Brampton over the Christmas period and we come across this village pub whilst there. We didn't think they'd have space for us on Christmas Eve but the staff were more than happy to make room for us. The food....was.... incredible! Absolutely loved it, so much so that we came back boxing day as I had to try the pie, which was out of this world. Full of beef not like most places where you'd struggle to find 3 lumps if you were lucky. Staff were organised, helpful and friendly even for how busy the pub was. Pub it self was lovely and cosy, obviously busy being christmas but no one seemed to mind us being there. Highly recommend and will be returning ourselves when back in the area

House Of Meg
4 Hall Terrace, Gilsland, BramptonSwung by mid trek to Banks (walking West ) along Hadrians Wall. With the limited food options on this leg, this came as a great suprise. Anyways opted for the special of the day, Chicken Korma, excellent value for money and was a good bowlful! Can't complain, thank you.

27 Front St, BramptonI ordered a beautiful cheese platter for a Galentine’s Day night for my friends, the platter was amazing and such good quality/ value for money. The staff at Capon Tree are just lovely, so kind and friendly. Really lovely to see a local business doing so well, couldn’t recommend more ?! Thank you xx

Blenkinsopp Castle Inn, BramptonHad a sunday lunch here. Fantastic service despite my wife being gluten and dairy free they couldn't do enough for us. The meal was first class probably the best I've ever had. I would highly recommend

Corton Wood, Brampton, Brampton Bierlow, BarnsleyHi, I always get my duck eggs from here but its been like a week they havent restocked the Duck Eggs yet. Could you please get them restocked for us? Thats the only eggs that I eat.
