Bowness-on-Solway, WigtonHappy to recommend The Kings Arms Inn, Bowness on Solway. Had 2 fantastic meals there whilst on holiday. Home cooked food, piping hot, delicious and tasty, and the chips tasted and looked 'proper' ? Thanks to the staff too; very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely dine there again given the opportunity. ?

Peartree tea room
Barwise Brow, Bowness-on-Solway, WigtonLovely stop this morning at the cafe. There was a problem with the bank card reader and so cash was only available for a time. The owner went the extra mile to accommodate us and two passing cyclists. The atmosphere was wonderful. Thank you

18 Annan Rd, Eastriggs, AnnanBest Chinese about! Food is delicious every time and always quick! My favourite is the curry sauce and the salt and chilli chips, but we've tried lots from the menu and never been disappointed! Would definitely recommend!

The Stand Bar and Restaurant
Westlands The Broats Moss, AnnanWe headed to the restaurant for convenience after just having arrived and checked-in.Nice selection on the menu. Something for everyone. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was very good. Steak pie, lasagne and gammon steak are three dishes we can highly recommend. The atmosphere is also nice, with music playing in the background and the occasional visits by the peacocks.
