There is loads of choice and variety and all at a very reasonable price. The food is really good and large portions, this has now become one of our regular places especially after training and would highly recommend Soul n Chips, for great food ?

We where greeted by a very friendly professional man called Falcone who informed us it may take 20 mins for a table so I looked at my partner and said its your birthday so your choice and as soon as I had mentioned it was a birthday Falcone said wait ill sort it and got us a lovely table straight away ? which was just so kind and brilliant service from the start.
The atmosphere is quaint and cosy, the service was fast and the food was that good we returned the next day for another meal as we loved it so much !
The whole team are super professional and friendly always chatty and making sure everything is perfect
Thanks guys for not 1 but 2 memorable evenings we highly recommend a visit to venezia and we will certainly visit again when we come back to beautiful Bourton on the water ✨️?✨️

We came on spec, on our way through to London from York, and it was so good we made a detour a week later to go there again. I had an injury and the staff made sure I was fully comfortable and well-looked after. We're absolutely going to go back!

7-8 Market Pl, Burton-on-TrentCame here for dinner and had an amazing time. Food was quick and very tasty. Ordered satay chicken, bbq pork skewers to start and chicken red curry and beef in garlic and pepper sauce for mains along with 2 drinks each. Plenty of clearly highlighted gluten free options which for us was a big plus. Staff were very friendly and polite. Highly recommend for anyone wanting great Thai food.

Amazing food, brilliant service, and not once did they make us feel like the awkward last table of the night. The Anglesey Arms, 26A The Grn, Burton-on-TrentI came in for a little get together with some friends a couple days ago, I must say that despite what other people are saying I had a really great time , I thought that Tracey and Paul made us feel extremely welcome , the food came out reasonably quick and was excellent ( for reference I had the bbq mac burger) ; the portions was a good size and very tasty!. The pub had a lovely atmosphere’s and like I said the staff was very engaging and friendly. Recommend highly and I will be back again soon!

Fish & Chips, Hunters chicken and Ultimate Southern Fried Chicken burger were all delicious and great value for money. Going back to Sunday lunches, the chef knows how to cook Roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings! Management and staff all friendly and helpful. Definitely our go to place now.

Brilliant hidden gem, Richard was happy to tell me the history of the place and how they cycle the taps to make sure it stays interest and with optimal quality. The service was sensational. Sorry I dont remember the servers name. But wish I did. Because it was fantastic service. She was amazing. Couldn't do enough for us.
The food was ridiculously good. We all had different dishes. From burgers and fish and chips. To loads of other things. All was amazing. The portion sizes where massive.
Was a lovely pint of Guinness too.
We enjoyed it so much we went back on the sat and again. (Booked this time) The food was sensational. The service again was very good. (Sorry lads not as good as the women from friday haha) But was very good indeed.

We visited the café recently to catch up with some friends, but what started as a casual outing quickly turned into a medical emergency when one of our friends suddenly took ill.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to the incredible staff, who responded immediately with care, compassion, and calm professionalism. They not only called for help right away but went above and beyond, even offering their own clothes to use as makeshift pillows to keep our friend as comfortable as possible while we waited for the ambulance.
We also want to sincerely thank the fellow customers who didn’t hesitate to jump up and help, assisting us in getting our friend on to the floor. Your kindness and quick action made all the difference.
In what was a very distressing and unexpected situation, the support and humanity shown by both the café team and those around us truly helped us get through it. We cannot thank or commend you highly enough.
After things had settled and our friend was safely in good hands, we were finally able to sit down, catch our breath, and enjoy the rest of our visit. The coffee was excellent, just what we needed and the lunch we ordered afterward was absolutely delicious. It was a comforting and uplifting end to an otherwise stressful day.

We attended with two elderly relatives and the team kindly let us sit on a close table to the buffet which made things so much easier and was much appreciated especially with the mobility side of things. Thank you!

Warm and welcoming atmosphere made everyone feel right at home. The lady who served us was incredibly attentive, ensuring that we received wonderful service. The pub's charm, coupled with its friendly staff, created an inviting environment.
Lady working had time for everyone. Felt really comfortable here especially when visiting an area I don’t know. Took lots of care in preparing my drink which you don’t get in a lot of places. Asked for my glass preference, ice, straw etc.

Kids played at the back behind the marquee, in the little hedge tunnel they have, the beer selection was great, the food stall they had on the decking area was amazing and their kitchen were able to make some slight adjustments to their menu to feed our kids. Overall, just a really great vibe, lovely and friendly staff who very clearly cared about the quality of service - chef after finishing work having a pint, nipped over to check if the kids liked the food etc. and there were a few moments like that, staff asking feedback or wanting to make sure service was good :). Will definitely be back!

15 Burnside, Rolleston-on-Dove, Burton upon Trent, Burton-on-TrentHad a 50th birthday here and Charlie and Adam had us sorted at the bar all night, even though it was very busy at the bar constantly they kept a very happy composure and made sure everyone was sorted. Very lovely spot and amazing staff.

Excellent Fish & Chips, curry sauce ,mushy peas plus a wide range of other options.We all dined on the bench seating outside.
Highly recommended after a busy family day .

This might not be the shops fault as they might not know that google has this time down as there closing time. If the Owner/Manager sees this could you possibly update the times on google or somewhere if possible as I would like to come back, thank you, hope you understand.???

There is loads of choice and variety and all at a very reasonable price. The food is really good and large portions, this has now become one of our regular places especially after training and would highly recommend Soul n Chips, for great food ?

Ambiance was good as it was bustling but didn't feel overcrowded. Great evening. Only downside was sitting near the front door on a really cold night !

156 Station St, Burton-on-TrentWe called in for my partners birthday hoping for a last minute table and the place was very busy, showing how popular the restaurant is. We where greeted by a very friendly professional man called Falcone who informed us it may take 20 mins for a table so I looked at my partner and said its your birthday so your choice and as soon as I had mentioned it was a birthday Falcone said wait ill sort it and got us a lovely table straight away ? which was just so kind and brilliant service from the start.
The atmosphere is quaint and cosy, the service was fast and the food was that good we returned the next day for another meal as we loved it so much !
The whole team are super professional and friendly always chatty and making sure everything is perfect
Thanks guys for not 1 but 2 memorable evenings we highly recommend a visit to venezia and we will certainly visit again when we come back to beautiful Bourton on the water ✨️?✨️

95-96 High St, Burton-on-TrentMy partner and I dined here at the weekend, we are from Suffolk but would come back to Burton just for this restaurant! Such an amazing Thai!!!! We had the sharing starter and everything was super fresh and tasty. For our mains we shared tow dishes and a rice, we were absolutely stuffed by the end. The portions were great and for the price you honestly cannot complain! Service was also spot on, I cannot fault this place. :)

Great music playing with live music a lot of the time with James Bond playing on the tv which never goes amiss. So happy to see the pub thriving again it’s a great little place full of locals that will talk to anyone. Would deffo recommend!

For lunch, I chose the chicken breast with wild mushrooms, sweet potato puree, spinach, madeira jus & truffle oil. Godammit, the smell and taste of this dish was insane. If you love chicken and truffle oil, you'll love this dish. Perfect combination.

We came on spec, on our way through to London from York, and it was so good we made a detour a week later to go there again. I had an injury and the staff made sure I was fully comfortable and well-looked after. We're absolutely going to go back!

Regular things happening in the evenings. On a Thursday night it's Bingo or play your cards right. Myself and my partner go for a couple of quiet ones while the youngest is at brownies.

7-8 Market Pl, Burton-on-TrentCame here for dinner and had an amazing time. Food was quick and very tasty. Ordered satay chicken, bbq pork skewers to start and chicken red curry and beef in garlic and pepper sauce for mains along with 2 drinks each. Plenty of clearly highlighted gluten free options which for us was a big plus. Staff were very friendly and polite. Highly recommend for anyone wanting great Thai food.

Warm and welcoming atmosphere made everyone feel right at home. The lady who served us was incredibly attentive, ensuring that we received wonderful service. The pub's charm, coupled with its friendly staff, created an inviting environment.
Lady working had time for everyone. Felt really comfortable here especially when visiting an area I don’t know. Took lots of care in preparing my drink which you don’t get in a lot of places. Asked for my glass preference, ice, straw etc.

Amazing food, brilliant service, and not once did they make us feel like the awkward last table of the night. The food was beautiful, of course, but what really stood out to us was the service. We were so looked after by the lady who was behind the bar (I feel dreadful we didn't get her name!) The lemon chicken batter is a bit rubbery, but i had it with no sauce so im not sure the difference is major or not, chicken balls can have more batter; maybe the chicken less dry because it was very dry, i had the King prawn chow mein and they had a good sauce for it maybe a secret sauce? ( edit : turns out it was soy sauce and they just put a lot of it, my preference is that kind so i like it, the noodles aren’t dry ever i think so some people might not like it, but i love it ) definitely going again! THE SPRING ROLLS ARE PERFECT ASWELL

Brilliant hidden gem, Richard was happy to tell me the history of the place and how they cycle the taps to make sure it stays interest and with optimal quality. Definitely going to be back for food as the menu is full of hearty classics. Would definitely recommend.
