50 Spring Gardens, BuxtonA lovely place serving delicious food, I went for the desi breakfast which was very tasty, the masala beans and cumin spiced potato’s were excellent, my only complaint were the sausages tasted more walls than locally produced, it didn’t detract from an excellent breakfast though.
The staff were very friendly and the place was very clean with a very nice atmosphere.

My husband and I both chose different menu options and can honestly say it was some of the best pub food we have experienced. Portions were large, hot and filling. We will definitely go again if we return to the area.

I took a friend for coffee and to check out the menu for another day... really tempting. The drinks were good and reasonably priced, the service just right and what a lovely place. ? The restaurant really looked after us with a couple of freebies due to a high order which was very much appreciated and we’ll most definitely be ordering again as we have done prior anyway.

1 The Quadrant, BuxtonI've eaten here several times and it's been consistently delicious. Tonight I had the chicken liver starter and chicken with tarragon sauce as my main. Both were outstanding. I recommend booking rather than walking. They had to turn several people away tonight as they were so busy. We still got our food within a reasonable time despite how busy they were.

35 High St, BuxtonI was searching for a halal restaurant in Buxton travelling past from London and finally found the perfect spot to satisfy my cravings. I ordered a lamb curry with naan and plain rice, and it was delicious, I also ordered a buttermilk chicken. The restaurant even included an extra portion of rice and naan for me to take home with my leftovers.
As it was my first visit, they kindly offered me a complimentary ice cream, which was a lovely touch and tasted amazing! The service was excellent, and the location is conveniently situated on a high street with plenty of parking.
The only minor drawback was that the lamb was slightly tougher than I prefer, as I usually opt for softer cuts. However, overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for a great curry experience.

14 Dale Rd, BuxtonI really enjoyed the whole experience of this takeaway. The food was very tasty and came in large quantities as well. Going to pick up our order is rather special because the pickup point is in the actual kitchen and you can see the entire cooking process going on right there. Fascinating. I think the restaurant should consider creating a list of the vegetarian options as an additional section of the menu. There are veggie options but it would be good marketing to make them more easily visible. I would certainly use this restaurant again.

Bakewell Rd, BuxtonExcellent cafe with a good range of choice. I came here for breakfast and it cost us £16 for two which in today’s money is quite fair since we had big breakfasts. Staff were polite and friendly. Providing a fast service. The food was of good quality and was very tasty. Plenty of seating to choose from and a free large car park outside.

Except for the staff, some are surly, some are pleasant. At Buxton, they are all pleasant. There are plenty of regulars, so it must be doing something right.
If higher management see this. Your premises need tarting up a bit and your staff need a raise.

One massive problem, it’s so so cold in there, it’s uncomfortably cold, when we went in I noticed other customers wearing coats, i understand it’s an old building but my gosh it’s Baltic, we didn’t have a puddings as we couldn’t stand it any longer

Got a large mixed kebab for about 11 quid - weirdly it wasn’t assembled but it could be as it was late - though they gave me enough meat and filling for about 3-4 kebabs! The image shown is after about 30 minutes of eating ! Tasted great too! Lovely music in there, very nice uncommon to the western ear stringed instrument recording played in the shop. Lovely! Just what you want from a kebab shop!

Nothings ever Hit & miss here, which you find is common in most other Chinese takeaways.
Their choice of sizing for portions is always generous. This is a help when ordering for a few people, and never leaves a hole in my pocket.
All in all its a win win. My only suggestion would be that the restaurant would benefit from a lick of paint.

I hardly ever leave a review, but a good fry up deserves one. Recommend to travelers passing through.

Really impressed. On top of generous portions of sausage, egg, bacon, beans, tomato source and toast … you also get a delicious pancake, and fried toast too. And friendly, prompt service too.

George Street the old courthouse, BuxtonI have visted Bar Brasserie a few times and with every vist we have always recieved great food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff who have served us have always been friendly and have always ensured we are happy and served in a timely manner, and the food has always been delicious and tasty with the steak followed by pistachio crepe been a firm favourite of mine. We always feel like a valued customer each time we visit Bar Brasserie and this is the reason why we will return again... and of course for the lovely cocktails too!

I’m still to work my way through the full menu (& I will) but the dishes I have sampled so far have been wonderful. Now I don’t mind a wait especially in such calm surroundings and for good food, it can be busy which is no surprise because the food is cooked with care and absolutely delicious. It’s the place the locals flock to so you know it’s good.

Church Ln, Litton, Buxtonoh my gosh, my friend and I have been for lunch today and agreed this was the nicest meal we had had in years and years! we both had Ossobuco, the meat melted in my mouth, the sauce was divine.. with creamy mash and crispy cabbage.. huge portions.. finished with the most delicious home made sticky toffee pudding to die for.. with fabulous lagers and the fire on. Perfect day off. The chefs here are OUTSTANDING thank you xx

Main St, Chelmorton, BuxtonReally nice traditional pub. Enjoyed a few pints of Birra Moretti in here. Really nice lively pint, clearly well maintained lines and pumps etc. Had a meal in here. Chips were a very good size portion, which I can't praise enough because portion sizes of sides in many pub grub places are becoming very disappointing. The church in however, had a big bowl of really nice homemade chips that tasted fantastic. My Mrs had proper food which she enjoyed but I'm all about the chips. Service was fantastic. Only seemed to be two teenage girls working in there but both were a credit to the place and seemed more experienced and hard working and better at their jobs than most of the barstaff I have ever experienced. Food and drinks were delivered quickly and even though it got quite busy whilst I was there the place ran smoothly and everything was ship shape.
In summary, really well run pub with great pints, great food and great staff.
