Had a brilliant meal at Ephesus in Morpeth. Everything was absolutely spot on. The ambiance is really good, with warm lighting and a cosy, welcoming feel that makes the whole place feel special. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the owner was incredibly kind and made us feel genuinely looked after. It was also very kid-friendly, which made the whole evening so much easier. Our little one was made to feel welcome, and the staff went out of their way to be patient and helpful.

Our starters were full of flavour and came out quickly, and the main courses were cooked perfectly with really fresh ingredients. You can tell they put a lot of care into the food and the overall experience. One of the best meals I’ve had in the area. Highly recommend.

I made an order via Just Eat as a guest so I can't leave a review on there. I ordered at approx 18:30 In Pegswood and the food was delivered at 18:55. It was absolutely red hot and very good. I ordered Salt and pepper ribs, Garlic and Chilli house special with fried rice, and a portion of chips. Couldn't fault it. Reading some of the reviews on Google, I advise that you look on Just eat as the recent reviews are good. 10/10 thanks

booked Sunday lunch and have to say it was very good, nice and hot, well presented, and cooked just right, I was driving so no beer but friends said it was good, highly recommended place with great staff.

Nice place, but not sure about the beer quality, spoke to staff but they said that's how it is, will give it a miss, to be fair though food looked very nice so give it a try.

Found this pub on our first night of 7 in amble in which we went every night for a pint. Staff were amazing. We had 2 dogs Dexter and Milo (the puppy). Ordered a couple of pizzas from these guys whilst staying nearby.The shop doesn't look that impressive, but I got chatting to one of their delivery drivers whilst waiting for my food & he was really friendly (as were most other people we met in Amble), the guy making the pizza was a real genuine chap tooThe pizza was tasty; my only suggestion for improvement would be that the deep pan pizzas are a bit deeper.I ordered twice whilst in Amble, so they can't have been that bad...Vegetarian options: They have a couple of decent veggie options

Visited the Black Bull in Morpeth for Xmas dinner. First time actually eating there, so a bit of a gamble. Firstly I would like to say that the communication from the black bull to the lead up was lovely and welcoming. We pre ordered 3 weeks before so on the day it was very well organized. The staff were so friendly and seemed like that actually wanted to be there. The 4 of us were all happy with our 3 course meal. Perfectly cooked. (Maybe a bit more veggies) But we did get extra gravy. The drinks were very reasonable and it wasn't to noisy. The overall atmosphere was very relaxed and didn't feel rushed at all. I would definitely recommend and would eat here again wether it's for a Xmas dinner or a Sunday lunch.

visited for the first time today. myself, partner and 3 kids. it was 5:40pm so just before they stopped servicing food - wasnt an issue at all. staff super friendly and welcoming. Sunday roast was faultless, we both had the trio of meat and couldnt finish them. Kids shared fish and chips and a scampi and chips. all said it was yummy. will 100% be back for food when up that way.

Have to be honest when I got there tonight I thought I’d got the wrong place after seeing the amazing reviews on here, it’s basically a run down portacabin in a car park but thought I’d give it a bash anyway as the queue was quite large, first of all the food was absolutely amazing, we had 4 meals and each was just brilliant and so flavourful total cost was£29, I thought they missed a meal or something as it’s nearly double the price in our local in york,
Highly recommend this place to anybody, if you didn’t see the cabin you would think it was from a high end Chinese restaurant.

The food here was delicious. And for a small-ish cafe, there was a great selection of dishes to choose from…

We went for the cheese and onion toastie, the ham and cheese quiche and the CROISSANTWICH (at least I think that’s how you spell it!) from the special board. It came filled with scrambled eggs, bacon and tomato but there were also other filling options.

The atmosphere was calming and welcoming, with a snug in the window to enjoy a coffee on. The service was excellent and the food came quickly (but not too quickly!). All in all a very comfortable experience.

Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food in a cozy environment!

I can only comment on the meals I've had, Singapore chow mein, salt and pepper chicken and the fried rice dishes.
First, the salt and pepper chicken is absolutely lush, and my favourite out of many Chinese. The other amble place is good for s&p chicken but the portions here are just A-MAZING. The crispiness of it is lush. The fried rice dishes are huge too, the chips decent and Singapore noodles are so nice. I've tried them elsewhere and they were not the same at all. Makes me want to try and make them.

Very good food from boulevards as per. We had a big order 80+ pound and it was with us within 30 mins. 1 pizzas toppings slid off the top and were all over the box (accidents happen) but we rang up and a new pizza was delivered within 10 mins. Top quality service as always.
