Another fabulous meal at Koinonia. The prawn and coconut soup is delicious and we opted for the lamb shank special. Such a great please, lovely friendly staff. You never feel rushed even when it is busy. This is probably our 10th visit. There’s always something new to keep us coming back. The thali is always a good start if you want to try a few different dishes. Thanks again!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Tawny Owl, and I must say, the experience was exceptional. Lexi, our waitress, was absolutely fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her recommendations were spot on, and she really knew the menu well. The food was also incredible. Each dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. From the starters to the desserts, everything was delicious. Lexi's excellent service combined with the amazing food made for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend visiting The Tawny Owl.

Just had a beautiful meal to celebrate our teenage son’s birthday and we couldn’t fault a thing. The menu was varied and our choices were delicious. Our server was Colby (hope that’s the right spelling) and his attentive customer service skills and impeccable manners really shone through. So nice to see. Came here today for the first time with my family and I am very pleased with everything. The prices are very low to the point that we were expecting the food to be mediocre but in all honestly it was delicious and blew us all away. We had 3 mixed grills, a kids fish finger meal, a bowl of chips and a hunters chicken. Everything was excellent, the man who served us gave us a good laugh and was amazing, I'll definitely be back again!

We love the food and service at Ma Ma Thai, it’s a lovely relaxed atmosphere with delicious food. Lots of options on the menu and really reasonable prices too. We had heard mixed reviews about this pub, but I can honestly say that my husband and I had the most amazing meal tonight! The chef definitely knew his stuff and even discouraged us from ordering the rump steak as it was not at its best, and offered us the sirloin at the same price.
The deserts were heaven and the service was excellent....will definitely visit again ?

This Beefeater is next door to the Premier Inn, so is the logical place to eat after a long journey and check in.\nOn a visit last week, my wife and I found the staff friendly and professional.\nFood is standard Beefeater fare, and none the worse for that - you know what you're going to get, it's solid food not haute cuisine.\nService was prompt and I paid £55 +/- for two stiff G & Ts and two steak mains. We thought this was reasonable value considering everything nowadays seems to cost 20/25% more than you think it should! \nMy only grumble is you can't leave a tip (unless you have cash) as the till can't cope with it. \nRecommended.

Served by Pamala and Richard, they were friendly, attentive, efficient and took the time to provide a personalised service - 5/5\\n\\n* Atmosphere - clean, bright and relaxing. Fresh decor with a mix of bench and chair seating. Plenty of space and natural light made for a pleasant backdrop to our meal - 4/5\\n\\n* Value for money - price range for mains was as expected, between Â£8-12, and the menu, which largely catered to breakfast and dinner offered a reasonable variety of healthy European dishes (continental breakfast, Italian mains) - 3/5\\n\\nOverall Verdict... The food, value for money and general environment were nice but nothing special. However, the service we received was excellent. We went to White Post last Saturday for a birthday meal and I can't knock the service that we had. The staff were friendly and what you would expect from any pub/restaurant. It was a little quite, but it certainly worked for us having an 18 month old in tow. The play area was a big bonus for our child and others that were there too. Food was pretty good as well, though I can't give it more than 4 stars as they didn't have enough meat to make up a mega mixed grill, which surprised me given it was a Saturday night.

Just off the A17 about 3 miles from Newark we stumbled upon this lovely pub! We arrived about 5pm today (Sunday) and Sunday roast was finished and in fairness the pub was very quiet.
The amazing landlady ensured we didn't leave hungry and although food was finished she fixed both me and my husband a meal ! This is customer service above and beyond.......if your passing by be sure to call in

This is the best fish in the county by a mile. I called in on Friday having not been past for over a year. Nothing has changed. The fish is beautiful. The chips are outstanding. The batter is crisp and light. This place puts other chippies to shame. If you live within 30 minutes of this chippy abandon where you go and make the journey, you wont regret it. Food was amazing and staff couldn't do enough for us, and the manager was brilliant as well and can have a laugh and joke with her, definitely be visiting again thank you

Feeling peckish is a diamond amongst the dining venues of the area we had a table of 11 in the newly opened dining room upstairs, the food was amazing, plates hot, service perfect, don't walk past , we highly recommend feeling peckish . The cake and dessert options are just impossible to miss.
