I'm sorry to say this was my first visit to Audelias and I can honestly say it won't be my last.
The good was absolutely fantastic and really enjoyable.
The service was excellent also.
I will be rebooking shortly

Amran's Indian Kitchen & Grill

We have visited this Indian many times and every time the food is always outstanding. Great quality meats and tasty curry’s, my husband having tried most dishes on the menu. We love the dopiaza, tikka masala and bhuna. The portion sizes are very good.

It has a lovely interiors and ambience. The customer service is excellent, friendly staff who can’t do enough, special mention to Jakir. Would highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed.

MAVI Turkish Restaurant

We went at a quiet time in fact by the time we ordered there was only me and my daughter. Food was very delisious my daughter really enjoyed her moussaka and my hummus and flatbread was nice. Wasn't really keen on the server watching us from a distance but other than that I have to say the portions and food was 5 star

The Magna Tandoori

Wow! The BEST meal we have had in a long time. The second week in January, but although it was quiet, the food and the service were top notch. See you in the summer Magna Tandoori.

The Cross Inn Pub & Eating House

Staying in the area and called in for an early dinner. Pretty place with a lovely ambience. The food was perfect, every mouthful was delicious. Topped off with great service and friendly staff. If you are in the area I recommend you visit. I only wish we lived nearer.

Foxtons Winebar & Restaurant

Recommended Foxton by host. Wonderful restaurant beautiful food especially the seafood platter . We had a variety of mains from trailers gait burger,sirloin steak, fish and chips to myself and halibut tagliatelle beautiful.Staff friendly and helpful. Service great.Would fully recommend.

An absolute delight!!!
The panini's were beautiful. Im not really one for a side salad but when I saw that little slice of heaven (feta) tucked between 2 pieces of tomato I know i was in for a treat!! Even the kids food was spot on. Service was excellent and very patient when my son could decide what to have. Thank you so much. Will definitely be back ?

Can we all take a moment or a life time too appreciate this creative and loving service giving from the staff at wingbox. Sometimes you have to take the little things in life and make them what you can. I asked for a chicken to be drawn on my delivery and well….see attached photo for what I was gifted with. Nothing but love, respect and appreciation to the artists ❤️P.S one of you played Kirby for sure ?

Food was ok - warm and a bit soggy feeling to me. Could have been cleaner with dirty tables and rubbish on floors; I was taking out anyway. Served was quite blunt and short - felt like they were stressed and that made me feel rushed and undervalued. Good stock of items.Parking: No on street parking or parking available at store.Wheelchair accessibility: Level access. No lowered counter.

We were staying at caravan site the reviews looked ok we chanced a takeaway the food was excellent piping hot great value as the portion sizes were more than enough highly recommend enjoy

The Townhouse Café

I went in to have a look around and found the place to be so nice, I ended up staying for my lunch. The staff were lovely. I ordered the scampi and chips which came with salad and tartar sauce. The scampi was the best I have ever tasted and reasonably priced. Wonderful service too. Definitely recommend lunch here.

The Berwick Shellfish Co.

Its conveniently located off the A1 with plenty of parking spaces. It’s bright and well decorated ?
I was welcomed by lovely Catherine and we had some great conversation ??‍♀️?
I love the live crab and lobsters on display; we bought some frozen seafood, white baits, fish pie mixed and 2 live brown crab ?
They are all well packed and frozen to retain their freshness.
We really enjoyed our seafood feast and have plenty to last the week ????

Used for second time . Not in area often. Had haggis and chips... Wasn't the best haggis but was nice enough for me to have again. So I will use again in future.

Leaping Salmon

The leaping salmon made us leap for joy! An excellent experience, our lunch was superb, the atmosphere electric. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Berwick upon Tweed!

China House Chinese Takeaway

First chinese I've had in Berwick area, and thought I was ordering from a different one until I punched in the postcode! So I didn't know it was there, tucked into a housing estate in Tweedmouth, sort of behind the Tweedmouth Retail park. Enough of the geography, onto the food! I ordered Sweet & Sour Pork with Fried Rice, and portion of Salt + Pepper Chips. Food ready exactly when advised on the app. Cash only, so luckily I was near a cashpoint when I realised that. Food was excellent. Massive portion (8 huge pork balls), piping hot, freshly made. Chips were perfect. I'd definitely recommend this if you are in the area, and after a Chinese takeaway night in.

Castlegate Fish & Chip Restaurant

Usually the food is good but this time Sunday 3rd March 2024) the haggis was very stodgy and the batter was tough. Also not near enough chips as I've usually had.Maybe a one off but annoying after doing the 9 mile trip home only to find this. ☹️May try elsewhere in the future.

Limoncello

The restaurant is really swish including a lovely cocktail bar. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The menu was good, more than enough choice and the quality of the food very good!

One little criticism, the piped music was too loud for our taste.

Other than that, perfect, go and see and try for yourself!

The Island View

We booked an overnight stay here on 21/02/26 so we could visit Holy Island. The owners Simon and Sarah are lovely and welcoming, and despite staying there during the off season, the rooms were clean and tidy, we were well cared for and the breakfast was top notch. Couldn’t recommend this place enough for the price as it’s such good value for money.

The Island View

A wonderful stay at a quaint and quirky country inn. Traditional cottage with modern conveniences run by a truly lovely family. The rooms are well appointed with everything you'd expect. The beds are the best we've ever had at a UK stay. The shower is good but it does fluctuate due to the nature of the building. The views are lovely and rural. Although situated right by the A1 once the windows are closed we didn't really hear much traffic at night. The location was great for visiting Lindesfarne, Bamburgh, Alnwick and Berwick or very quiet beaches nearby. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Service is friendly and welcoming and the bar area is very comfortable and cosy. We would stay again. Thanks for making our weekend so enjoyable.

The Black Bull Inn

We stayed here for one night and everything was impeccably clean. The décor and the lively Christmas atmosphere added extra charm to the location. The food was delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and dedicated. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Fishers Arms

Booked an evening meal and all three of us really enjoyed it. Lasagne was delicious and filling, balti curry was just right and scampi and chips were perfect. Nice friendly welcome from the barman and other staff and drinks and meal prices were soooo reasonable.
Would have no hesitation on making a return visit.

The Free Trade

This bar is a real blast from the past. To the door that takes you into the bar, the wooden furnishings and brass tables it was a delight to be here. Great service and a lovely pint of Yorkshire Blonde went down a treat.

The Ship Inn Holy Island

Fabulous pint, excellent Landlord. We watched him absolutely make someone's day.

Marshalls Cafe

A great find! Get there early, it's immensely popular (especially during lunch hours). The food and atmosphere are special. Feels homely, yet there is something extra special about the food and what the team have curated.

A Corvi Fish Restaurant

Nice old fashioned little place. We bought take out but restaurant seemed nice, 3 other customers in the time we were there. £60 for 3x fish and chips, 3 x sausages, calamari rings, onion rings and chips. All freshly cooked for us after we ordered.
Was a nice surprise to find the fish was skinless when we got back. Only gripe is one size portion of chips, we normally get a large and share between the children but they had to make do as I wasn't spending anymore money!

Caffè Nero

Given wrong order by staff, and almost sure I wasn't given the decaf coffee I asked for. Tables and floor were dirty and left with pots on whilst staff chatted to each other. Won't be returning.

Costa Coffee

The food and drink were both great. The Terry’s Chocolate Orange cupcake was rather delicious, and the mint hot chocolate certainly warmed me up. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall a lovely stop for a treat!

Royal Garden

Food wad great , dumplings were fantastic, my companion enjoyed their food , tasty & hot , service good . Had to wait for starters but that was my fault for ordering the dumplings that were so fresh and cooked to order, and it was explained that they took 20 minutes , but mains were here as soon as starters were finished.
People complained in the reviews but I'm a very fussy eater and I was delighted.
Will definitely come back again next time I'm in berwick

Struggling to find somewhere open for breakfast, this café opens at 8.30. great large Scottish breakfast (small and veggie options also available) for a reasonable price. Just off the high street, Highly recommended!

The Curfew Micropub

What a fantastic little Micro, 4 hand pulls, 3 light one dark. Was rather busier than i expected at 2pm on a Friday with no seating inside. Plenty of outdoor sheltered seating to enjoy your pint

This place offered a quiet, peaceful laid back space(maybe a little too quiet, no music !) so if you want somewhere you can relax, definitely here

Amazing venue run by amazing people. Not only is their food superb (pear&almond tart + beetroot&courgette brownie) but their approach towards food waste needs to be applauded ?

The Coffee Stop

What a lovely wee place this is.After a busy morning seeing the Lowry exhibition at Berwick Barracks we were both desperately in need of recharging.Spotting The Coffee Stop off we went.
Welcomed with smiles and mugs of cappuccino the menu is extensive plus home made.She who must be fed went for the sausage egg beans & hand cut chips whilst i went with mince pie & chips.Wow lovely served with smiles and hit the spot.
Well priced with super staff,we will definitely be back.Sums up our experience of Berwick as the folks are so welcoming and friendly ?⛵

Atelier

We had a fantastic evening at Atelier, after many hours walking in the rain perfectly poured drinks and wonderfully prepared dishes could only just stand up to the fantastic service that Isaac provided he was Cordial, kind and would make you comfortable even on a bed of nails! Thank you to Isaac and the rest of the staff for a memorable evening.

The Masons Arms

This is a fantastic pub with great people working for the establishment, rooms were clean and looks recently added as part of an extension. Free WiFi is a bonus given limited to no mobile connection in area.

Lowry's at the Chandlery

I'm on a long extended stay here in Berwick upon Tweed and Lowry's at the Chandlery has become my go to spot for lunch. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is top notch, and the staff is incredible. I come a lot here and they just treat me so well.... Thank you to all!

After a shockingly bad experience in Foxtons win bar the night before …a high THANKYOU to the amazing staff at Peir Red fjr restoring our faith in good food at a fair price ! \n\nThe restaurant was light and airy and the small but perfectly formed lunch menu was just what we were looking fjr . \n\nAs a vegan , I was thrilled to see a superfood sajadc..which was delicious , seasoned to perfection and fulll of the good stuff ! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️\n\nMum had soup with fresh home made roll ..which she really enjoyed . \n\nMy husband ..had the tuna pizza slice which looked as delicious as he proclaimed it tasted . \n\nStaff were warm and chat was humorous …value for money was outstanding , at such sharp contrast with our evening meal the night before . \n\nA gorgeous experience ..even the dog was treated ! ❤️❤️❤️

1st Class Food and Post Office

A great lunch stop. Freshly caught and cooked Crab which was served in huge portions either as a salad or a stottie. Food of the gods! Staff friendly and attentive. Definitely my kind of place for lunch and the coffee was decent too.

Ord House Lounge Bar & Grill

We're staying at a nearby village and found the restaurant on Google, upon arrival was concerned it looked too posh as we were bringing along a crazy 4 year old but looks were deceiving - it was a really lovely place, child friendly with soft play use which was quiet and clean
Food was lovely and a great price, unfortunately was too full from main to get a dessert, hopefully will be back before we go home

Coulls Fish Restaurant

We come every year to eyemouth up the road for a break and always come to here atleast once for food. The batter is so odd in a good way. Like it made from scraps ?. It crunchy fresh and so tasty. The battered sausages are unreal. I know sounds silly but they are nothing like any other chippy ive had. Gravey lovley. Chips hot and cooked perfect. All in all perfect chippy. See you next year!

Restaurant 1782

Absolutely wonderful start to finish. Lovely wine selection, amazing friendly service from everyone and the food is top notch. Sea bass dish and duck and Guinea fowl as pictured were stunning….like 5 star hotel or Michelin star restaurant standard stunning. Well done team ????? Will definitely be back

The Angel Inn

Haven't tried the food but the staff were friendly and nice, good place for kids during the day or adults in the evening for drinks. Pints were reasonably priced too

Ford Village Shop & Post Office

Currently sat outside having enjoyed a Tuna baguette sandwich followed by a cream scone which was delicious. The breakfast tea was just what the doctor ordered having just walked from Etal. Also, it must be said that it's a refreshing change to be served by two delightful young ladies with personalities to match. Oh, our 2 spaniels enjoyed their treats too. Thank you.

The White Swan Inn

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival. Room was excellent value with a fabulous breakfast included! Hubby had a full English and I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - plus the usual tea, coffee, juice, cereal, fruit etc. We had a meal on the evening which was your typical pub grub which we both enjoyed. The sticky toffee pudding was lovely. The bed was comfy and the shower nice and warm.
The surrounding area is picturesque but we didn't get chance to have an explore as the trip was just a stay over.

The Red Lion

Cracking atmosphere, lots of things going on with Halloween parties. A typical old style type of bar. Really good prices on the beer and £2 plus cheaper than where I usually drink as selling the same brand.

Loaf vegan b&b.

Without doubt the best vegan breakfasts I’ve had. Lots of choice, all of it good. I really loved the crumpets, but Karen will talk you through all the options & make fresh to order.

Eat and Sleep Lindisfarne

Plan ahead with this place! Bring a little extra cash too. The owner will not help you out if you need last minute accommodations like a friend of mine did.
You gotta pay for a sleeping bag. Probably one of the most uncomfortable and squeaky beds I’ve slept in but it gets the job done for cheap.

The Old Dairy

Absolute gem, lots of very attractive (price and appearance) items, including some nice arts and crafts chairs and tables. Why would anyone buy new furniture from Barker and Stonehouse when for less cash you can have chairs that have timeless class, and will last and last?

Oxford Farm Shop

We stopped whilst on a cycle ride. What a lovely place. Home made food and biscuits. Delicious and filling. Good selection of home made biscuits etc. In the shop.

Island Oasis Coffee Shop

Great cakes and light snacks, good value pot of tea and friendly and efficient service. Dogs welcome, inside and outside seating, and a toilet as well. What's not to like.

Stopped here on our way to Cockenzie. Fancied a light bite.Choose your food, drink and pay via machine link with useful pictures.Ordered the offer on bacon butties with coffee £4. So our bill for two was £8. Very reasonable !!Arrived with a stash of thick bacon, nice fresh bun ... pleasant waitress and was literally within 5 minutes.Other hot meals also available, Full English Breakfast, Scottish Breakfast, Fish n chips, toasties, baked potatoes, cold sandwiches too. Nice cakes and scones also on display and other deserts available. Very reasonably priced.Big store, so all other necessities available.WC in store. So we continued our journey, refreshed, fed and watered. ? ?
