My second time visiting and we had a delicious meal here.

The service was friendly, professional and kind. The atmosphere is lovely and makes for a special evening. It is on the expensive side (not wild but on the higher end) but you could order carefully if you needed to keep the cost down.

I'll always recommend Bacaro when people say they want somewhere special.

We turned up without a booking the week before Christmas at about 4:30pm. They had loads of bookings but said they could squeeze us in.
I can see why it was so popular, it was just fantastic. Food was great - Tricolore salad, pizza and pasta arabiata. All was delicious. Service was good and it felt like we were in Italy.

Visited the Southampton location on the 22/3 as a family occasion.
Booking process is smooth, reminder text messages are appreciated.
On arrival swiftly moved to the bar area for pre-dinner drinks which were kindly delivered to the table rather than waiting.
Our restaurant reservation came available and we were escorted through by our server Laura.
Laura was extremely attentive. One of our party has shellfish allergies and she took extra time to ensure that was catered for.
Service was swift and accurate. Servers repeatedly checked if all was well and if we needed more drinks or water. The food is as expected - very good, cooked as requested and well presented.
Unfortunately a more elderly member of our party became a little unwell and we had to leave quite quickly after eating. Laura really helped by getting the bill arranged immediately and even getting some “doggy bags” for some left over fries!
I would be grateful if this feedback, and particularly recognition of just how brilliant Laura is, could be passed back to the team. A quality job all round.

My husband and I visited this restaurant when we were on vacation from Dehli. We are both non veg, but we decided to try the vegan butter chicken here. we have both eaten in the hotel in Dehli many times where butter chicken was invented, and these people have really made it par excellence! Really surprised that they have made it so delicious and without any meat or dairy. I really give my commendations to this very small team for such a great vegan meal. I would ignore the couple complaining below. Kesarum have definitely not misrepresented any dish whatsoever. they are clueless about Indian food and I think they were expecting Bangladeshi type so decided to nit-pick at anything to bring these guys down.

Great spot to watch football! Amazing atmosphere, big screen, and good people all around. The staff is friendly and they look after you. They offer loyalty card and VIP rooms available the drinks are cold, and the food is good . They have pool tables and darts games it’s place to be with friends and family highly recommend for match days! George on the bar was very helpful!

Made a booking at Soleto in the afternoon and arrived in the evening greeted with a smile and guided to our table and from there the evening was just sublime. The food and service was just unchallenged. I didn’t even Ben manage to take photos of the food because it was gone before I even thought about it! The recommendations on the food were spot on! Portion sizes were great and food was simply delicious! Best dinner out in years! Absolutely no complaints here!! Not the cheapest but here you get what you pay for really applies. I expect the chef is worth his weight in gold as was the server and the host! We will be back!! Soooon….. Thank you for restoring our faith that there are still gems to find out there! Shel& Jay!

My partner and I went to Mango Thai Tapas for the first time today. It's a hidden gem. The decor is very nice. We went in the early afternoon. It was very calm, even with a fair amount of people present.

The food was delicious. I recommend the tapas range. There are very nice options for vegetarians. I enjoyed the corn fritters in particular and my partner loved the satay chicken. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Everything was presented beautifully and full of flavour.

We were served by Jack, who seemed to be on his own. He was very friendly, cheerful and attentive. We commented on how organised he seemed to be, because everyone surrounding us had what they needed and he was always checking in with everyone.

A lovely place that we would be happy to recommend to anyone.

Very difficult to review: as a pub it is excellent; but accommodation wise it represented by far the worst value for money on our entire hike along the South Downs Way! The room was small, awkwardly shaped, taps broken, light not working (offered to fix), noise from the toilet upstairs! Tiniest TV I’ve ever seen (not used), just instant coffee, no milk (unless you ask), just one chair, no luggage stand, quirky but impractical hand basin, no shampoo conditioner or body lotion, no usb socket, WiFi drops out in half the room, bathroom fan that goes on forever! For £140 I’d expect much much much more - however, breakfast was excellent with great proper coffee! Service very good & pub food excellent too. Great pub, but feel I’ve been ripped off with the room ?

I just discovered this most beautiful Inn when browsing on line for pubs along the river in Hampshire. I fell upon a gem here! Idyllic setting, a variety of seating & tables to eat outdoors along the river. The menu looked amazing, a good variety. We just stopped for a refreshing drink & sat along the river watching the fish jumping. You can purchase fresh baked bread & other provisions. It's truly an idyllic place with very obliging, friendly, attentive staff.

Fantastic food. The pub was busy (Uni move in day) and so service was slow, but we were warned before ordering and our server Tabi was absolutely lovely and proactively kept us updated, so no issues or complaints about that.
The food was delicious, an amazing vegan lentil cottage pie! I’m not vegan and can’t really say why I ordered this, I probably wasn’t thinking clearly with the emotion of dropping off our baby at university… anyway I wasn’t expecting it to be that good and was kind of regretting the order until the moment I tasted it. It was stunningly good. An amazing depth of flavour, a generous portion, and delicious gravy. What a delicious treat! We’ll ba back as soon as we can, to visit our child, and to enjoy the food here again.

Popped in here on my own while travelling to my sister's house, as I was hungry and tired after a long day - very glad I did! Friendly and chatty staff indicated I'd made a good choice by going for the steak and stilton pie. Went in today for a quick lunch. I ordered a large bowl since I’m gluten-free and can’t have a tortilla. It was a bit disappointing that the server wasn’t sure which items were GF, but he directed me to scan a QR code that opened their allergen menu, so I could choose safely and take responsibility for my order.

I went with Mexican rice, black beans, chicken, smashed homemade guacamole, pickled red onions, chilli, and sour cream — a simple bowl, but absolutely packed with flavour. I love the concept and the food, and I really hope this place stays busy. It’s quick, healthy, and very affordable.

One more thing worth mentioning: while I was in the queue, I saw the chef come out and check the temperatures of all the food to ensure everything was safe and up to standard. Well done.

The Thai Corner Restaurant

We visited this resturant on a Saturday lunchtime. I had reserved however it wasn’t needed as it wasn’t busy. However what I will say is even though it wasn’t busy at that particular time, the phone was ringing off the hook for bookings constantly. I can see why. The food was amazing. Quentin was our server. He was super kind, attentive (but not too much) and was very welcoming which was nice.

We were offered prawn crackers with sweet chilli dip. These felt fresh and were flavoursome. There was a special lunchtime menu. I went for this and my guest had two starters (smaller appetite) I had the chicken satay to start, the sauce was lovely. Beautiful flavour, good temperature and tasty. The chicken had a nice marinade and was throughly cooked. My guest had the fish patties. Tad on the hot (spicy) side for her so we swapped halfway through. I found them to be manageable and tasty, not too fishy if that makes sense.

For main I had the garlic and pepper stir fry with beef and my guest had the tempura prawn starter. OMG the stir fry was just amazing. Honestly I couldn’t fault it. If I could have had another one I would have but I wanted to save room for desert lol

The coconut mousse was ok. Consistency was light and the taste was nice. I would have liked the coconut to be stronger but that’s just me. I chose the mango and passion fruit coulis which went well. The cheesecake was good too. We wanted to try two desserts that were shown as being home made.

I can safely say I will be going back, I have other things I want to try on the menu. A nice location, very easy to park and just a really nice place to sit, watch the world go by and eat good food :)

This time, we were ordering a takeaway but we were in a bit of a time crunch, so we called up and asked if it could be done as soon as possible as the website told us it could be 1 hour, they told us to come in 20 mins for collection. I was a little sceptical whether it would be ready in 20 mins but we went anyway and it was! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, and the food is exceptional. This is such a local gem.

2nd time using this restaurant for a take away, very quick service. Refreshing to be aloud to pay cash on delivery and the food is top standard! Salt and pepper prawns, insane flavour. Beef and black bean, meat was so so tender, the beef melted in iur m I mouths, not chewy at all, which is rare for a Chinese takeaway so this is a huge plus, and their chilli and onion rice is to die for. Highly recommend ? it's definitely our new favourite place ?

Every time I know I'm in Southampton at a good time I plan to get pizza from Roma. Have been visiting on and off since they first opened.
The menu has changed but the quality and service is as good as ever.
There is a wide choice of other items if you don't like pizza, but with the buy one get one free offer, why wouldn't you choose their speciality. Lots of different topping combinations, wanted to try the new Munch but unfortunately they had fun out of the necessary toppings. The prices are reasonable too.
Give them a go and try something different on your pizza. I recommend the BBQ chicken and the Hot & Sweet... Delicious...

We had hot drinks and cakes. The person taking the drinks order listened, repeated back and the drinks were accurately made first time. We were told which drink was which without having to question it, this is a rare thing these day's, I was very impressed.

We are regular customers to Pizza hut. Their pizza is one of the best in the UK. We had two medium size half and half pizza and they were very tasty. The beef sizzler is my favourite whereas its the margarita who my partner likes the most. The cheesy nachos is my favourite side and its so delicious. Their delivery is always on time as it was today.The Prices gone up by a bit for the same pizzas that we used to have (hence a missing star).

Throughout the evening service was attentive, and the food was excellent. We had fish and chips, and it was the sort of fish and chips that reminds you how good it can be, and how poor it often is. The atmosphere was a touch flat, but we were eating at 6pm so that is not a huge surprise, more our fault for eating so early. Would definitely go back when in Southampton

A wonderful place to go to try and fight off your anxiety by meeting fellow boardgames enthusiasts.

Set days are for certain events with Monday being a free-for-all and open to all newcomers where you can play from either their wide selection of board games or even bring your own!

Saturdays are also the new location of the Adult Social Group from 6pm to 9pm and they are a real lovely bunch of friendly people and the more I've gone, the better and more confident I've gotten.

They stop serving hot meals at around 6pm, but if you get a chance I recommend the Macaroni and Cheese. It's very good! I usually have lemon juice there and really appreciate that they give you the option of sharp or sweet and the cool mug it comes in.

They have a tuck shop, as pictured, that runs through the whole time where you can buy a fun variety of snacks.

I highly recommend checking this place out, especially if you want to socialise, but you don't want to just sit at a bar, pay for expensive drinks and then leave, having accomplished nothing like I have with my own issues with anxieties and trying to socialise. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful in how they are in general.

Again, great place for any lonely gamer to hang out and make friends. Or queer folk as the place is pro-LGBTQ+.

This is such a delightful cafe, by far the best in Southampton! Everything I've had to eat or drink here has been of the highest quality (particularly a fan of the oat iced latte here). Love the ambience of the mismatched furniture, the board games, and the books that are available to browse and use. Patches is a wonderful server who is always super stylish and very friendly! I attend the Cosy Crime book club here, they very kindly open up after hours to let us meet once a month and and we love the Retro as a base, it's accessible for us all and so comfortable too. Definitely recommend it here!
